PRP
The acronym PRP stands for platelet-rich plasma, a very reliable and simple treatment that only requires a dermatological assessment of the patient.
Plasma, as it comes from the patient himself, will not cause any type of allergy or reaction, making it one of the safest methods to prevent skin aging or as a treatment for alopecia.
What is PRP treatment?
To perform the PRP procedure, only a small sample of blood needs to be drawn. After obtaining the sample, the blood is placed in a centrifuge that separates the blood into several parts. And one of them is platelet plasma for treatment. The PRP is reinserted into the body with very fine water and in specific areas, both on the scalp and on the skin.
It is a painless technique with which very good results are achieved. Being a simple intervention, it does not require income. Furthermore, there are no age limits for the treatment and it can be combined with other procedures.
What do we get with the PRP?
Depending on the purpose of the treatment, we will achieve different results:
